DENTAL TIPS FOR ALL
Taking care of your teeth is one of the most important daily routines
you can establish. It doesn’t take that long and is worth it to
avoid the long list of painful and irreversible dental problems that
happen when you don’t brush and floss your teeth regularly.
Here are some very basic tips for taking care
of your teeth:
• Brush your teeth twice a day or after each meal.
• Buy a new toothbrush every 3-6 months.
• Brush teeth in a circular motion.
• Don’t wet the brush before or after applying toothpaste
– water negatively affects the bristle movement and prevents
bristles from getting all the plaque off.
• Don’t use too much toothpaste – it will make you
want to spit and rinse before all your teeth are brushed.
• Floss daily and use mouthwash.
• Eat healthy foods – eliminate sugars from your diet.
• Visit your dentist at least twice a year.
• Use toothpaste with fluoride.
